Success Story IAS Aditi Varshney: Every year more than 10 lakh aspirants appear in the UPSC Civil Services Exam with the dream of becoming an IAS-IPS. Out of which the final selection is of about one thousand candidates. Because there are only around one thousand vacancies. Do coaching for this. But some people become IAS by cracking UPSC exam in first attempt without any coaching. Today you are meeting one such IAS officer Aditi Varshney. Who cleared UPSC 2022 in the first attempt on the basis of self study with All India 57th rank.
Aditi Varshney is a resident of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. His schooling has also been done in Bareilly's Bishop Konrad School. She is the eldest of three siblings. His father is a local cloth merchant and mother is a house maker. As per the reports, Aditi did not join any GS coaching for UPSC exam.
Aditi holds a BA Honors degree from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi. After this he had enrolled in post graduation. But left studies in between and started preparing for UPSC. He cleared the UPSC Civil Services Exam in the first attempt. His All India Rank was 57th.
Aditi had told in many of her interviews that she had not done any coaching for GS. But had joined the test series for the preparation of Sociology. Sociology was his optional subject in the UPSC Mains exam. When the result of UPSC came, he could not believe his success once. So they downloaded the PDF file of the result twice.
Interestingly, Aditi's journey to become an IAS officer was born out of her mother's unfulfilled dream. Mother Indu Varshney, who played the role of a housemaker in the house, also had a desire to become an IAS officer. His daughter made this dream come true.
Aditi's story is not just about educational achievements. It is also about perseverance, self-belief and the power of dreams. This achievement of Aditi proves that coaching is not the only way to succeed in competitive exams like UPSC. Success can be achieved with dedication, discipline and a strong study plan.
