Improvement of 7 ODR Roads in Uklana, Hisar District worth more than Rs. 25 crore

Chandigarh, February 2 –Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, has granted administrative sanction for the special repair and improvement of 7 ODR roads in Uklana, Hisar District. This project will cost over Rs. 25 crore. The roads serving rural areas of production and providing them with outlet to market centres, tehsil headquarters, block development headquarters, railway stations etc. are known as Other District Roads (ODRs).

Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson stated these projects include Widening & Strengthening of village Kandul to Kinala road spanning 2.26 km at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.75 crore, village Faridpur to Bhaini Badashapur road spanning 3.52 km at estimated cost of Rs. 1.75 crore, village Daultapur to Khedar via Issarheri road spanning 9.33 km at an estimated cost of Rs. 7.64 crore, Reconstruction of Chaupal to Both Bus Stand at Village Knoh, Uklana spanning 1.520 km at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.65 crore, Reconstruction and Strengthening of village Channa to Sandlana road spanning 2.020 km at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.44 crore, Special repair of road from Barwala to Kharkara by providing 30 mm BC in Km. 0.00 to 5.97 and Relaying of CCB in Km. 5.97 to 6.43 at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.50 crore, Special repair of road from Gaibipur Babuwa Hasanagarh Litani road by providing Strengthening of road in Km. 0.00 to 9.40 at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.97 crore.

He further stated that these initiatives reflect the Haryana Government's commitment to infrastructure development and will undoubtedly bring substantial benefits to the public by improving road networks and connectivity across the state.
