Haryana Receives 3 Major Aviation Gifts at Wings India 2024 Event organized by the Civil Aviation Ministry in Hyderabad

Chandigarh, January 20 Haryana received three significant gifts at the Wings India 2024 event organized in Hyderabad by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The Deputy Chief Minister stated that Hisar Airport has got operational and management excellence from Civil Aviation. An MoU has been signed with the Civil Aviation Authority of India for the operation of ATC control, radar and other technical equipment of Hisar Airport. Starting in April, the team will take charge of operations at Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar, and all flight arrivals are scheduled to commence in April, said Deputy CM
The Deputy Chief Minister was addressing a press conference on Saturday in the video conference auditorium located in the Mini Secretariat Complex, Hisar. He mentioned that boarding, arrival, and departure facilities at the airport will be operational soon. Apart from this, traffic will start under the Central Government's UDAN-5.2 scheme through primary airlines VGF, in which MoU has been signed from Hisar to Delhi, Chandigarh and through UDAN-5.3 to Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jaipur. With this, citizens of neighboring states will also be able to get good air connectivity. Air services have been proposed for Manali, Shimla, Dharamshala and Dehradun, Chandigarh two days a week.
He further mentioned that proposals for Agra and Ayodhya are also in consideration based on surveys. The Heli-Hub project on a 30-acre site along the Gurugram-Dwarka Express National Highway will be initiated soon, providing services to religious places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan. Services from Ambala Civil Airport are also expected to commence in July.
Furthermore, MoU has also been signed with warehousing and cargo companies, in which aero defence cluster will also be formed under 3800 acre IMC Hisar. The MRO Association of the country has shown its interest in Hisar. In this, the project of repairing old planes from all three hangars of the old terminal will be started through tender All this has been possible due to the efforts of the State Government
In the future, a proposal will be sent to establish Hisar Airport as an international cargo centre for the entire Asian continent. Facilities for apron parking for 10 aircrafts are already available, and arrangements for parking 20 small aircraft on the old airport land are planned. An agreement has been reached with Alliance Airlines for flight services. Additionally, plans are underway to connect Talwandi Rana and Dhandhoor to the city through two new roadways. Haryana state's first cloverleaf project to be built in Hisar has received unprecedented approval.
Labor Minister, Sh. Anoop Dhanak, Khadi Board, Chairman, Sh. Rajender Litani were also present on this occasion.
