Dushyant Chautala stresses the important role of Chartered Accountants in Boosting India's Economy
Chandigarh, January 12 - Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala, stated that the responsibility of taking India's economy to third place in the world lies in the hands of young Chartered Accountants (CA). Addressing CA students at the "Youth Festival for CA Students," he urged them to play a crucial role in the progress of the country and bringing more transparency to the tax system.

The Deputy Chief Minister addressed the main event at Umang-2024 (Youth Festival for CA Students), held at Chaudhary Charan Singh Auditorium at Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar on Friday.

Sh. Chautala emphasized that chartered accountants are the backbone of the Indian economy. The entire framework of the Central Goods and Services Tax (GST) system has been prepared by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Currently, Haryana leads in GST collections among the leading states of the country. Following global medical centres and Doctors, India is among the top nations in the globe for providing CAs. Countries like the United States depend on Indian CAs for software-related tasks like Tally.
