The hottest news that has been making headlines over the past several months all over the world is the wedding of Prince William and Miss Kate Middleton . It will be the most televised royal wedding in recent times.Prince William and Kate Middleton married in Westminster Abbey on Friday ,Thousands of people have gathered throughout central London for the wedding which began at 1100 BST.

Kate, wearing an ivory and white satin wedding dress with long lace sleeves, a veil and a long flowing train waved to cheering crowds of well-wishers as she entered Westminster Abbey.

William arrived at the church 45 minutes earlier accompanied by his younger brother and best man Prince Harry. Grinning broadly, he was dressed in a scarlet military tunic with a blue sash



The belief in fairytales is once again reinforced by the dream marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The entire nation was held captive to the event of the mega marriage that took place in London on yesterday. The event is supposed to be viewed by billions across the globe. The fanfare came as a ray of enchanting light amidst the economical gloom. According to the royal sources William and Kate were closely associated with the minute details of their wedding planning and worked on this for a considerably long time to make the event a great success as it was.

In keeping with the heritage of the royal family of Britain, the Queen mother of the nation and the grandmother to Prince William bestowed upon him the honorary title of the Duke of Cambridge. This was done to commemorate the marriage of Prince William to Kate Middleton. The event took place at 8 am in the morning, yesterday.

At 10:13 am William appears wearing the famous and elegant red tunic that is the uniform of the Irish Guards officer. Prince Harry also looked stunning in the blue uniform of the Royal officer’s. The brothers together left the Clarence House, riding on a Bentley. It took them 5 minutes to arrive at the Westminster Abbey. The big crowd on both the sides of the road cheered in full strength for their prince.

The Queen mother and the Duke of Edinburgh left Buckingham palace at around 10:42 pm riding on a Rolls Royce Limousine. The Queen wore primrose dress while the Duke of Edinburgh looked stunning in his military uniform. Kate Middleton along with her father, Michael Middleton left the Goring hotel at around 10:51am. They were carried to the Westminster Abbey in a Rolls Royce Phantom VI. The glass roof on the carriage car gave the waiting crowd glimpses of the wedding dress of the bride. The elegant gown for the Royal bride was designed by the eminent fashion designer Sarah Burton. She belongs to the Alexander McQueen house of fashion.

The bride takes her place beside her would be husband at 11:10am. Prince Harry is seen to nervously convey the message of her arrival, while Williams takes it upon himself to soothe the nerves of Kate and tells her that she looks beautiful. Soon the Royal proceeding starts that unfold with grandeur in front of billion viewers glued to their televisions.

The Archbishop of Canterbury pronounced Prince William and Kate Middleton as man and wife as the clock indicated 11:20 am. The marriage was not free of its fair share of tensions. William did fumble when he tried to put the golden ring on the fourth finger of his bride. Though, this was for a short fleeting moment.

The newly married couple came out of the Abbey at 12:09 pm and smiled and waved to the huge crowd of well wishers as they greeted them loud cheers, claps etc. The traditional Landau coach of the 1902 drove the couple to the Buckingham palace. The sun too appeared at the moment to shower the divine blessing among the couple, crowd and the United Kingdom.

The military band played the national anthem in the courtyard as seven aircrafts flew in formation to give a flypast. The balcony of Buckingham witnessed the prince kiss her princess. As the crowd encored for more, visibly nervous William followed up his act with a second short peck. The cheering crowd chanted their names.

A classic open top Aston Martin with the name plate stating ‘Just Wed’ carried the couple in style and away from the Royal Reception at Buckingham Palace. We wish all the best to the newly wedded couple.
